The Ron Paul campaign is gearing up to escalate its battle to destroy the U.S. Constitution in order to save it and to otherwise bugger our imaginations with rampaging insanity by taking the fight to the skies! Pictured, at right, is the Paulites latest atrocity: an artist's concept of what would be the Ron Paul Blimp! The Dread Zeppelin! La dirigible unintelligible! It will float from town to town, and, if the description the Paul supporter behind this idea is accurate, confuse the minds of men!

Imagine.. the mainstream media is mesmerized as the image of the Ron Paul blimp is shown to tens of millions of Americans throughout the day (and throughout the month). Wolf Blizter [sic], stunned and as if in a trance, repeats the words "Amazing, Amazing".
You have to admit, this sounds AWESOME.

As GPS co-ordinates stream to the website a map shows the Ron Paul blimp's location in real time. The local Television stations broadcast its every move. The curious flock together and make a trip to see history in the making. Emails with pictures are sent, then forwarded, then forwarded again. Youtube videos go viral and reach tens of millions of views. Ron Paul becomes the first presidential candidate in history to have his very own blimp. The PR stunt generates millions upon millions of dollars worth in free publicity, and captures the imagination of America.
But why stop there? Why don't we raise some money to buy Ron Paul his very own kangaroo? He can climb in the pouch and hop from campaign stop to campaign stop! Wolf Blitzer will look on, dumbfounded, muttering, "Stunning...wondrous!"

The thing is, these Paulites are deadly serious about this. They claim to have raised over $98,000 toward the $350K they think will make this blimp a reality. And if the picture below is any indication, the next terrorist-themed movie they aim to fetishize may be Black Sunday.

Really. Isn't it time to consider whether we might all be better off if we simply gave in to Ron Paul's demands?

Ron Paul sends shockwaves across the political landscape, Americans want to be free

Ron Paul sends shockwaves across the political landscape, Americans want to be free Larry Fester

Republican Presidential Candidate and Texas Congressman, Ron Paul, just shook the foundations of the political universe yesterday. In one day he proved he has a legitimate shot at winning Republican nomination.

Ron Paul’s campaign broke records yesterday raking in 4.2 million dollars in a single day. The fund raising effort broke the record for online donations set by John Kerry just after Super Tuesday in 2004. It was the most money raised by any Republican in one day so far in this campaign.

Ron Paul received over 40,000 donations from individuals across America. Americans from all walks of life appear to be drawn to Paul’s message of peace, freedom, and prosperity.

“Is it possible to comprehend what we've done today? Earth-shattering, jaw-dropping... No matter which way you phrase it, Ron Paul is for real.” were enthusiastic words of Paul’s Fundraising Director, Jonathan Bydlak.

Media companies may have to abandon polls altogether or adjust them accordingly. The only place where Paul seems to lack support is in media generated polls. If they continue to cover paul as a minor candidate they may see a drop in their ratings.

Paul’s unifying message is unique among the Republican and Democratic candidates running for president. He’s doesn’t play divisive politics by attempting to use race or economic class as wedge issues. He attracts Conservatives, Liberals, and Independents to his cause. Paul’s message of freedom is clearly resonating.

Paul’s defense of civil liberties and the Bill of Rights have made him a kind of folk hero. He voted against the Patriot Act and has promised to ‘repeal the police state.’ Paul has also warned against increasing the power of the presidency to dangerous levels and disrupting the balance of power in the government.

The only Republican running for president to have voted against the Iraq war, Paul says he will bring the troops home immediately. Paul has been critical of Hillary Clinton on the Iraq War and Congress for transferring “illegally the power and responsibility of congress to the president.”

Paul who has never voted for a tax increase or unbalanced budget, seeks to eliminate federal income taxes. He also has been critical of the Federal Reserve’s ability to “print money out of thin air” and wants to reform the monetary system by authorizing competing currencies backed by gold and silver.

Ron Paul continues to draw large crowds and raise more money than most of the other candidates. The Ron Paul Liberty Rally on November 10th in Philadelphia, during Veterans’ Day Weekend, will likely continue Paul’s momentum. The event will be at Independence Mall across the street from Independence Hall.

The location is fitting for Paul’s campaign theme. As one Paul supporter said, “Posers wave the flag, Patriots wave the Constitution”.

Ron Paul mounting a serious challenge for the GOP nomination

Ron Paul mounting a serious challenge for the GOP nomination Maple Brown

It appears that all of the media polls were wrong and Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul is mounting a serious challenge for the GOP nomination. Paul’s campaign will be hosting several events in South Carolina.

Ron Paul’s presidential campaign will be opening up an office in Greenville South Carolina tomorrow, holding a campaign rally in downtown Columbia on Friday, and opening another office in Columbia South Carolina on Saturday.

After a couple other events Paul will be at a rally on November 10th in Philadelphia. PA.

Paul continues to run a multi state campaign drawing significant crowds and supporters wherever he goes. Paul’s campaign seems to be running a national campaign and not just an Iowa New Hampshire strategy.

According to Paul’s website the campaign raised 2.5 million this month alone about half of what he raised last quarter.

Paul appeared on the Tonight Show last night and the mainstream audience was very supportive of his views. Paul was applauded for promoting reforms to the monetary system and eliminating federal income taxes as well as a non interventionist foreign policy.

The long time Republican appears to be energizing the party base that has been demoralized by the Bush presidency yet still seems to be expanding the party at the same time. (Visit the USA Daily Forum to discuss this and other issues.)
